When it comes to learning here's a few ways I've levelled up my marketing skills and knowledge:

With a wide range of online courses, you can explore everything from digital marketing basics to specialist areas like SEO, social media strategy, or email marketing. These courses are self-paced, so you can learn at your own rhythm – whether that’s an hour in the evening or a weekend deep dive. Perfect if you’re juggling work, family or other commitments.
📚 Books and Audiobooks
Not all learning has to be screen-based. Preloved marketing books are easy to find through World of Books (better for your bank balance and the planet). Classics like Seth Godin’s work or more practical guides on branding and digital ads are always worth picking up. If reading doesn’t fit into your schedule, try Audible. You can listen to insightful books while you walk, commute or even do the dishes. It’s a really good way to absorb new ideas without carving out extra time.

For bite-sized insights that keep you up to date, newsletters are a goldmine. Marketing blogs and LinkedIn newsletters bring fresh tips, case studies, and industry trends straight to you. Pro tip: many employers offer LinkedIn Learning for free, so check if it’s included in your workplace benefits before paying for it yourself.
