Crochet Club

Sometimes the best nights out are the ones where you try something completely new with your friends. And that’s exactly what happened at The Ugly Duckling. I love that Ugly Duckling partners with other small businesses to bring fresh and exciting experiences for their customers, and this night was a perfect example.

A group of us got together for a crochet workshop hosted by the wonderful Vicky from Cute and Crocheted. It was all about laughter, learning and creating memories.

None of us knew anything about crocheting, but with Vicky’s patient guidance, we each made our very own Blossom the Bee. By the end of the workshop, she wasn’t just a cute little crochet project, she became Luna’s (my dog) best friend too!

After finishing Blossom, my crochet journey hasn't stopped. Thanks to a generous gift of loads of wool from my Nanny, I’ve been busy making all sorts of creations: flowers, baby booties, blankets, and stockings. Take a look at my festive collection hannahmade christmas.

What started as a fun night out with friends has turned into a creative hobby I absolutely love. There’s something special about sitting together, trying something new, and walking away with something handmade, with the added bonus of a night full of memories.
