Hello whomans (humans) and fellow floofs! I’m Luna, your resident Sprocker extraordinaire – part springer, part cocker – 100% nose-powered foodie.

My mission? To escort my two loyal whomans, Hannah and Chris, to the finest dog-friendly pubs, with one paw firmly on our ultimate quest to find the Best Roast in Berkshire (and occasionally straying over the county line when my nose demands it).

My whomans love their Sunday roasts almost as much as I love belly rubs. And they have one rule: if I can’t come, they’re not staying.

So together, we hunt for pubs that don’t just tolerate doggos, but roll out the biscuit barrel for us.

See, not all pubs understand. Some just give dogs a cold look and a 'no thanks'. But the ones we love bring the water bowl before the menus, maybe give me a biscuity treat, and act like I’m the real Very Important Pooch.

The judging criteria:

  • The Sniff Test. Does it smell amazing as soon as I trot in?

  • The Doggy Welcome. Am I getting ear scratches from the staff?

  • The Roast Factor. How loud do my whomans 'Mmm' while eating?

Bonus paw stars for:

  • iced water bowls

  • warm fires

  • comfy napping spots

  • peas served as side veggies (my fav!)

  • and the occasional sneaky slice of medium-rare roast beef slipped under the table.

We seek town centre gastro pubs with boujee menus, riverside inns where I can dip my paws before lunch and countryside estate hotels where the gravy is so good I’d trade my tennis ball for a taste. Our adventures mix top-tier grub with proper doggy hospitality.

If you haven’t seen our escapades yet, trot over to @sprockerlifewithluna on Instagram. Expect pics of drool-worthy roasts, country strolls, pub and estate gardens and the occasional photobomb from yours truly (usually mid-snoot).

Whether you’re interested in exploring new locations and pubs, the food recommendations or simply just to see my adorable face, you’re in the right place. Give me a follow.

Right, that's enruff, I’ve got new pub pals to meet, stories to tell, tails to wag, and roasts to rate.
